Windermere Jetty Museum Lakeland Arts

The Dovetailing installation at Windermere, Lakeland Arts, has a wonderful setting right on the lakeside and is sited inside the Old Fire-station, next to the main museum building. Entry is free to the Dovetailing exhibition, the shop and lakeside cafe. There is a lot more to explore with paid entrance to the Museum with its wonderful stories of boats and steam, as well as the process of conservation that takes place on-site. There is also an amazing display by Barbara Nicholls of large scale watercolours, reflecting the Lake District’s dramatic environment.
